Response to formative feedback.

My preferred pathway was business and my formative assessment agrees with the choice. 

From my formative assessment some of my weakness were not referencing correctly. I used quotes in my marketing mix, however did not add the quotations in my referencing page. I also had adequate research but if i critically assessed this information better i would have had a better shop report.  I was also not very confident with my photoshop skills and used only a couple of products for my outerwear. With better digital skills i would have been able to come up with a better range plan. I also did not spend enough time for my mood board and hence the pictures could not convey the story for my product line.

Some of the strengths highlighted are good research and subject knowledge of brand evolution which helped me come up with a shop report and a range plan for my brand, Montcler. The assessment also highlights my connection between the different elements and digital skills which helped me make a more well connected outerwear line for the brand.

To reduce my weakness and improve my strengths i would spend more time on my assignments. I would research the information and try and properly understand the information before using it to get a more in-depth outcome of my assignments. This would also help me cross check and make sure i am referencing correctly and omit any other mistakes in my assignment.  I would spend more time on the adobe soft wares, thus I would be comfortable with my present skills and then try and develop them to get the finesse needed for my work. For a well-rounded assignment I would also research more artists and go to galleries to be inspired by different work, thus this would also help for artist research work. I would be able to understand the artist better and communicate this in my work in a better manner. Personally, I felt I was lacking in exploration and experimentation in my work. I feel with given the right amount of time on my assignments and more research work which includes analysing information better and learning from other artists, designers and entrepreneurs I would be able to reach my desired grade and a good submission.
