I was still in India while these classes were going on.
I was just about recovering from Covid 19 and had post symptoms as well. Hence i was way behind all the sessions.
When i looked at the amount of information given in these slides, i felt overwhelmed.
There was so much research work and so much i could not understand. STP was completely new to me and i could not tell the difference between segmentation and target. I felt like i needed to be in class or around my peers to keep up.
Even the difference between aims and objectives seemed confusing to me. It was safe to say that i felt overwhelmed with work and could only properly understand the various differences after doing the class tasks and going through the PPD a couple of times.
PPD 4
It was the same with PPD 4 as PPD 3 to me.
I had heard about SWOT analysis and felt confident about that but was completely alien to PESTLE. Pestle had so many categories and so much information and i thought it would be tough to directly relate them to brands.
The positioning map, i wasint sure how one concluded that and what research we needed.
I still felt very behind. However all this was so very interesting to me. I used to open the slides multiple times to read them again and again to understand what is what and the class tasks and SDS i have to do.
