I was in India for the first week so i could not attend classes.
I was trying ti keep up with the work online. I also had the coronavirus with terrible symptoms so i was already behind as i could not work on the dates of the classes.
I had learnt about the 4ps of the marketing mix in school and figured i knew the basics of it. When i saw the slide it was a more in-depth version fo what i had learnt and directly related to fashion so it was different.
For the timeline, in London when i figured out my collaboration i wanted to do something different and out of the box. I was racking my brain for something exciting as i used to find timelines boring.
After considering multiple options i suddenly had an idea which i knew i had to execute. The Mcqueen logo was a skull. In India for all our classes we had to label diagrams. I thus decided on getting a template of a skull and modifying it myself. This took a while and fitting the font in the right order was very time consuming. I also had to clip-mask the skull with prints etc and other digital work.
I stuck to it and made sure i finished the work
This made me realise that if i put my head into my work i could come up with something interesting, and if i practice my digital skills i could execute it. This was a strength i had and if worked on well, i could make some interesting things.
PPD 2
For PPD 2 primary and secondary data i had to collect information online and in person.
I had learnt about primary and secondary data in academic communication classes so i did not have problems with that.
I was having trouble properly accessing the WGSN sight and their reports. I tried to work on this with my friends. They helped me out with and even though i was in India it was made easy.
I understood the importance of team work.
